The breakfast selection was super, especially the sausages. the rooms were reasonably sized, airy, and had a large bed. - the location is quiet and surrounded by beautiful grounds.

The location and setting are superb as is the building itself. For the price the room was very good subject to the qualification below.
The quality of the bar food was very poor.

Convenient location close to Buckinghamshire and a charming Manor House with lovely grounds. Only a short 3 km drive from the picturesque St John's Church 🌳.

Space to seat and discuss over coffee, good feeling of wide spaces and great surrounding grounds. Has a strong ambience and friendly welcome. Service and response from staff was excellent. Good parking and easy access to rooms. For the price I paid this was good value and a great place for a conference and place to relax and talk.Food a bit expensive but bar meals available.
Would have liked small improvements to a overwise excellent single room, including redoing the grouting around the bath and fixing the toilet so I did not have to keep lifting the water cistern lid to flush (room 64) Except for those small points the room was very good and so quiet.

Had a memorable stay with a satisfying breakfast that included sausages, friendly staff, and a stunning location near a pub that met our needs.

The helpfulness of the reception staff who went out of their way. Room service is not standard but they provided this to me on both occasions that I stayed even when I arrived after 9 and the kitchen was closing!

Location was excellent, 10 minute drive into Amersham where we needed to be. The hotel offered a vegetarian breakfast which I have never experienced before being a vegetarian. Grounds were beautiful.
The shower facilities were poor, no water pressure in the shower. The bed was noisy and the walls quite thin, could hear the next door room quite clearly. Only one set of towels in a double room, I had to request more. I am generally easy going when staying in hotels if the basics are good but the shower facilities were the low point for me.
